Overview

A small version of my blanket flower sprite sculpture, on view at la luz’s annual Summer group show.

I used to visit La Luz when I was going to ArtCenter and was always so inspired by the work. It’s really exciting for me to have a piece in a show here. Feels like a nice little full circle moment.

My piece, a sprite inspired by the purple and yellow blanket flowers found all around Arizona, stands about 6” tall. It was digitally hand sculpted, 3D printed in ASA filament, then hand finished and painted.
